A collection of posters that visually represents some of the most important and influential sentences of history. They are all intellectually stimulating sentences, presented by a graphic look, that aims to critically explore its meanings.
How can sentences - verbal objects - be explored in the visuality field and become relevant pieces of graphic design?
Is what I tried to answer, creating a system of posters that, through graphic resources, explores the possibilities of reading and interpretation of the sentences.
There are nine silk-screen printed posters in the collection, divided into three categories (Philosophy, History, and Politics).
SENTENCES THAT CHANGED HISTORY was the final project of my undergraduate course (Graphic Design major) and was designed under the guidance of the professors Evelyn Grumach , Fabio Lopez and João de Souza Leite .
